About the Subject
The subject is me. I picked myself because I already had a bunch of photos in different framings, and it was the easiest thing to cut out and test on different screen sizes.
There are 3 different photos. On mobile (small.png) it's a close-up of my face, so it still reads at a small size. On tablet (medium.png) it's a half-body shot of me giving a thumbs up. On desktop (large.png) it's a full-body shot from a hike, and there's a Highland cow in it that I kept because there's enough room on a wide screen.
The background (bg.jpg) is a photo I took of Central Park in the snow. It's mostly white and grey, so the cut-outs don't blend into it and stand out quite a bit, especially the cow.
